Pricing and Coverage

Real Life Nutrition Inc participates with all the major insurance plans. Coverage is often plan and diagnosis driven. Most insurances cover diabetes, obesity, weight loss and any other nutrition related problem. You can check your coverage by going to you insurance company's website or calling them and checking on coverage for Medical Nutrition Therapy (CPT code 97802) or Diabetes Self-Management Education (CPT code G0108/G0109). Your copay and deductibles will apply.

We provide a discount for self-pay clients, your insurance cannot be billed if the discount is applied. Payment required at the time of service.

Medicare only covers nutrition education if you have diabetes or stage III chronic kidney disease.

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT)

Individual nutrition assessment and counseling.

Obesity and weight loss

We will assess your current diet and help you make a plan to meet your weight loss goal. Ongoing support and follow up coaching is also available.

Diabetes education for all types of diabetes

Education on medication, self blood glucose monitoring, pattern management, diet, insulin, pump and sensor education, prevention of complications and much more.

General Nutrition, fitness and Wellness

We can provide education and counseling on all areas of nutrition and fittness.

Diabetes Self-Management Education (DSME)

Group Education on All areas of Diabetes. We are certified by the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists (ADCES) and billable under Medicare and other insurances.

Group Diabetes Education

These classes can be attended in person or virtually. We cover the 10 topic areas under the national standards for diabetes. Classes are small and support group style. You will have ongoing support with our group.

Diabetes Preventon Classes

Theses classes are not currently covered under most insurances, but are priced very affordabley and are both available in person and virtually weekly for the first 3 months and monthly from there. Content will be based on the CDC guidlines.
